About Ava

Hello! My name is Ava, and I'm a University of Vermont graduate with bachelor's and master's degrees in Exercise Science and Physical Activity and Wellness Science. I currently work full-time as a high school Health and PE teacher. I've cared for children since age 12 and have experience with ages 3 months to 14 years. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and have coached lacrosse and soccer. I also ran a lacrosse clinic for 25 girls ages 9-12, leading four-hour sessions weekly for eight weeks over several years. I previously worked as a full-time nanny for three children, ages 3, 6, and 9, assisting with transportation, meals, and daily routines. I'm fun, patient, outgoing, and easygoing while valuing boundaries and consistency. I enjoy outdoor activities, games, hikes, crafts, and keeping children active and engaged. I'm also happy to help with grocery shopping, light cleaning, and meal preparation. I love creating a safe, positive, and fun environment for children to learn and grow.
