I think parenting is the key to a healthy development and to a good society, and a babysitter falls not too far behind. My 3+ years of experience with kids has been rewarding as to encourage me to pursue a career watching kids grow up and helping them to develop their skills! I may be 22 but my energy keeps me up to the whims of a 5-year-old. I have a lot of fun doing crafts, being active, reading books, playing outside, and doing activities outside of the house! I don't follow any method for childcare but take a calm, understanding approach to children by explaining ideas with patience, letting them make decisions, and helping them explore all new things. I am open to learning any sort of methods if needed as well! For my rates, I start at $22 with young children, and it increases to $26 with two children. My rate will be more if meal prep, laundry, housekeeping, driving, etc. are needed! I hope I can be the right fit for your family and I look forward to hearing back from you :)

Ava has been an absolute joy and godsend caring for my 2 year old son! Ava has been with my family for the past 7 months and has been a wonderful caretaker, play mate and role model. She is always on time, always helpful, very communicative and has done an amazing job making my son feel taken care of physically as well as emotionally. She is so gentle and firm when those tantrums arise and handles them with ease. She knows how important it is to balance screen time with outdoor play as well as providing healthy meal and snack choices. It is quite obvious how she truly cares for the well-being of any child she is with. I have never seen her lose her cool, become impatient or short tempered- she has always remained the same bubbly and cheerful caretaker no matter how challenging the day is. I knew from the moment I interviewed Ava that I would have zero doubts in my mind knowing my son would be in great and capable hands. We are relocating otherwise we would have kept Ava around forever!
