Hello! I have been for 8 years volunteering at organizations, all involving kids! I believe that today children are tomorrows adults and we must set good examples and be positive role models to improve society one child at a time. I used to work in Oregon at after school program doing camps, child care, and teaching ballet. My most recent venture is volunteering in the oncology and hematology department at a Children's Hospital where I have experience caring for ill children and teens. I have nannied and babysat for multiply different families with kids ages 6 weeks-12 years. I have years of experience pet sitting and house sitting. I have one cat and one dog of my own and love all animals! I have gone to classical private school my whole life and raised in a big Italian family, so family is very important to me.

We hired Ashton to help us get our 5 month old daughter ready in the morning and take her to daycare. Ashton was great for about 4 weeks, and then one Monday she did not show up. We called and texted her and didn't hear back from her for two days. When we finally got in contact with her via Care.com's messaging, she informed us she had a family emergency and had left town without her cell phone. She seemed very genuine and said she was very sorry and that she'd see us next week. We confirmed with her via text over the weekend that she would return the next Monday. However, when Monday came around she did not show up, didn't call or text, and didn't respond to any of our attempts to reach her.
