Ashley was our nanny from June 2020 through June 2021 during a period in our lives that was upended with the pandemic. She cared for our 3 year-old and 6 year-old at the time full-time, M-F 9am to 5pm. She was always patient, punctual, and willing to try new things to keep our children engaged at a time where we couldn't leave the house. It was invaluable to have her suggest activities, bring ideas for play, and be open to what we provided. Our three-year-old was potty training and could be very difficult at times. Ashley did not let this dissuade her from coming up with methods to help us get her on track. She invented reward systems, worked with us on new incentives, and took our feedback in stride if it wasn't working out. All this was going on while we helped our 6 year-old with remote learning. She kept his schedule, helped teach him lessons when remote learning was dissuading him, and really acted like his in-home tutor. It was truly invaluable.
