About Audrey

My name is Audrey and I am a second grade teacher in Montgomery County. My career in education has afforded me experience teaching children of many ages (from first grade to sixth grade), abilities, and languages. As a camp counselor, I have not only maintained my campers' safety (getting them to bed on time, enforcing safety rules around the pool/bay, helping with hair and tooth brushing, etc.) but I have also supported my campers through homesickness and social conflicts. Camp counseling has also given me many "tricks up my sleeves" when it comes to facilitating fun, silly, and creative activities to quickly entertain children. I believe in listening to children and fostering a positive relationship of mutual respect between us. My students would say that I teach in memorable, creative ways, such as through art, music, and hands on experiences. I would love to care for the lights of your life!
