About Aria

Hi there! I'm a nature-based educator with 15 years of experience working with children. I have experience as a childcare provider, teacher, mentor, and social-skills counselor. My training includes a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an Early Childhood Development Certificate. After teaching in a variety of settings including Waldorf Schools and a Reggio Emilia preschool, I founded my own fully outdoor early childhood program in 2020. My style with children is warm, respectful, engaged, gentle, and firm. Respect for the child is important to me, as is positive discipline, imaginative play, and nature awareness.
