I currently work part-time as a medication technician at a local assisted living facility and I am taking pre-nursing courses at a local community college. I will be attending nursing school in January 2021. I am a licensed CNA and certified in CPR. I have experience working with residents that suffer from dementia/Alzheimers as well as assisting individuals with activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, dressing, ambulation, and personal hygiene.) and taking vital signs. I absolutely love what I do. Being a caregiver may seem challenging at times but I feel as though caring for the elderly is immensely rewarding. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I know I was able to make a positive impact on someone's life.
