I am a reliable tutor with excellent references and experience working with kids of all ages, from elementary school to college level. My background includes one-on-one sessions, group tutoring, home school support, and employment through college tutoring departments. I'm patient and understanding to the varying learning styles of different students, and aim to foster a growth-mindset that supports and provides them with the tools they need to live up to their greatest potential. My tutoring approach emphasizes organizational/study skills such as note taking, assignment planning, and time management. For older students I mostly work within the humanities or any kind of reading/writing related support, from analyzing literature or articles, to structuring persuasive essays, to doing research papers.
