I'm currently on a leave of abscence from UChicago in order to take classes from CCSF that are more relevant to my interests in education. I have paid experience tutoring middle schoolers in Spanish (1 year), volunteer experience tutoring elementary schoolers in reading (3 years), as well as the informal tutoring experience that comes with working with others in academically rigorous high school and college classes. My academic interests lean towards science, especially biology, and english, especially contemporary literature, but I have taken classes in almost every subject area and would be happy to meet students where they are in a variety of subjects.
