About Anna

Supporting each child's individual needs is my passion. I am a third grade teacher with three years of experience in childcare settings. Prior to teaching third grade, I taught at a Montessori daycare (ages 0-6) for one and a half years, and I taught one year in second grade. I am comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. My approach is rooted in patience, support, consistency, and high expectations. I enjoy playing games that children are interested in, so I can incorporate academic skills in a fun way. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I believe in open communication, typically connecting with parents during drop-off and pick-up, and via text or phone as needed. I am always willing to adapt to your preferred method of communication to help support your family best!
