About Andie

Hello! I am a caregiver and artist who has been babysitting since I was 11 years old when I became Red Cross certified. Before age 11, I had experience in helping children in the neighborhood as a mother's helper and helping my own mother with my little sister. In and after college, I supported families with babysitting, in group childcare settings, and part-time and full-time in-home nannying. I do best with 1 on 1 or 1 on 2. I am naturally gifted at predicting and meeting the needs of babies and children and teens. I find that I really shine and can provide the most effective care for people aged 6 months to 2 years. I love working with people outside of those ranges- babies and toddlers are my specialty. I also have experience with children that are neurodivergent. I use a science and evidence based approach, also considering intuition and trauma informed care models. I lean on my studies of psychology, child development, nutrition and natural healing to guide my care.
