About Ananda

one of the most challenging, yet amazingly rewarding experiences of my life, was the care taking of my grandmother during the last 2 years of her life, from years 105 to 107!! we actually had so many great moments, including fun adventures in her wheelchair that I pushed around her neighborhood in Santa Clara, ca., visiting her gardening friends, and the local university bookstore and restaurants. being a very curious creature, she loved listening to books on tape, which she did for about 15 years, and we enjoyed sharing our lives in stories with each other. I so appreciate the wisdom of the elders. I found myself laughing with her often in our daily routine. these two years time with her added to my former skills level achieved through mothering 2 children, working with my 3 small grandchildren, and massaging and caring for clients' bodies for 22 years! what I also bring as a caretaker is my positive attitude, joyous fun spirit, brilliant mind and great communication skills.
