About Amy

Hi, I'm a former teacher with over 10 years experience working with children age 9 months-12 years. I have 2 years teaching experience, 5 years as a special needs aid, and 12 years as a tutor. I've been a nanny over two years after leaving the teaching profession. I have a BA in English (Long Beach State), a Masters in Creative Writing, and a Multi-Subject K-8th Teaching Credential (National University), as well as a Montessori Certificate for Elementary. I'm outgoing, friendly, a people person, have a good sense of humor, athletic, responsible, honest. I have been married 4 years and we are pet friendly with one cat (Piper). I love the beach, hiking, tennis, concerts/live music, movies, snow skiing, cooking, dining out, traveling & nature.
