About Amylee

It is my privilege to write this letter of recommendation for Amylee A., 12th grade Ambassador scout in troop 50651. Amylee became a member of our organization as a Junior scout in 2006 and merged into Troop 50651 in 2009. For the past four years, I have had the privilege of watching her develop into a fine young lady who is responsible, loyal, courteous, and extremely capable. A truly remarkable individual, Amylee possesses an insatiable need to support others, is highly competent, and extremely devoted to her scouting experience. Amylee has advanced steadily over the years, earning more than two-dozen program patches and badges. She has displayed enviable leadership skills; and serves as a mentor to younger scout troops in town. With over 500 combined community service/leadership hours, Amylee is the epitome of ambition, passion and merit. Furthermore, I am continually impressed by Amylee's commitment to personal and civic excellence; she earned the Silver Award in 2010 and her Gold Award in 2014 in which she introduced a cultural exchange between an elementary school in Newtown, CT and Nigeria. Amylee received State, National and Presidential recognition for her achievements on June 1st. To be a Girl Scout is to discover and promote the uniqueness in oneself as well as in others, connect these ideas within the local community and global surroundings and ultimately, take action in making a valuable impact in the world. It is my opinion that Amylee has mastered these requirements with exemplary results. Therefore, I am asking that you consider Amylee for a position through Care.com in recognition of the time, attention, consideration and commitment she has exhibited as an adolescent leader within our Newtown community. Finally, I highly recommend Amylee without hesitation; to know Amylee is to know that she is a dynamic young lady in tune with her potential and eager to serve it forward.
