About Jillian

I'd describe my personality as passionate, knowledgeable, and creative. I like tutoring because I enjoy supporting children, watching them become confident about their ability to learn. I enjoy helping feel prepared about their next test or paper. I'm looking for a job that allows me to support homeschool students in grades 3-8. I am open to working with students online and in pod learning groups. I enjoy teaching writing and create masterful science experiences. I can support any child in reading fluency and comprehension and mathematics. I also work with secondary/college students who need support improving study skills or writing. I started tutoring 10 years ago supporting struggling readers and math students. In my spare time, I like to be with family and exercise. One thing you should know about me is that I am a career educator trained to support students with different needs. My skills include helping students study skills, science, reading/writing, math.
