About Amelia

Hi! My name is Amelia, and I bring a strong mix of experience, energy, and responsibility to childcare. I'm currently a nursing major, which has given me a solid understanding of health, safety, and how to care for others with patience and attention. I also play Division I lacrosse at Iona University, so I'm very active, disciplined, and love staying engaged. I have extensive experience working with kids of all ages and genuinely enjoy being around them. Whether it's helping with homework, organizing fun activities, or keeping a structured routine, I'm dependable and attentive. My background in both athletics and nursing helps me stay calm under pressure, communicate well, and create a safe, positive environment for children. I'm passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with both kids and parents, and I always aim to make sure children feel supported, entertained, and cared for.
