About Amber

I have taught special education in Knox County for 5 years. During this time, I was awarded "Teacher of the Year" and the highest level of effectiveness of a 5. I hold both a masters and bachelors in education from the University of Tennessee, where I earned the honors of a 4. 0 GPA and Summa Cum Laude, respectively. I have taught K through 5th grade students who have moderate to severe disabilities including autism, intellectual disabilities, specific learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and speech and language impairments. In addition to academic skills, I also teach students adaptive skills and social skills. Teaching is my passion, and I would love to have the opportunity to learn and grow with your child!
