About Amani

Hi! My name is Amani, I'm a Psychology major at UT Austin on the pre-med track with the goal of becoming a pediatrician. I have over four years of babysitting experience caring for children from 3 months to 12 years old, along with volunteer experience in pediatric and family-centered healthcare settings. I am Infant and Adult CPR certified and passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, reading, baking, outdoor play, games, and creative learning experiences that keep children engaged while encouraging their development. I'm also comfortable caring for pets and am happy to include them in my responsibilities if needed. In my free time, I love trying new coffee shops, hiking, spending time outdoors, and staying active. I'm responsible, patient, dependable, and value open communication with parents to ensure they feel confident their children are in great hands
