About Iris

Hi! I'm Iris, and I have nearly two years of childcare experience as an au pair in Austin. I've cared for the same child from toddler through preschool age, supporting daily routines, learning, play, and emotional development. I'm a native Mandarin speaker, and through everyday conversations, books, songs, and play, the child I cared for became comfortable communicating in Mandarin. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for children. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, have a valid Texas driver's license, and completed childcare training before becoming an au pair. Families describe me as patient, dependable, and caring. I'm currently looking for a part-time nanny or babysitting position in the Austin area. I'd love to get to know your family!
