Hello! I am a loving mother of a 3-year-old child and have competed my college education. I have a degree in Psychology and a degree in Child & Adolescent Development as well. I am Trust line certified, CPR Certified and First Aid Certified. I have worked with a handful of children over the past 5 years from a variety of different ages ( newborn-10 years of age). I enjoy engaging children in hands on activities and play, and am very familiar with the Montessori approach. I have worked in a child care facility at the YMCA for over a year and enjoyed the experience with the wide age range of children at the center. I provide care, compassion, attentiveness, and loyalty to all families that I have worked with in the past. I look forward to creating new wonderful connections with new families and their children! Amanda has worked with our family for over a year with our now 5 year old daughter. She was very punctual, dependable, loving, knowledgeable and wonderful a part of our family. If requested, She also incorporates lots of education in her day to day childcare. She'd bring her own materials and helped my child learn how to read, hold a pencil, and introduced us to the Reggio Emilia approach. She's also very hands on, loved taking my daughter to the parks and outdoors, and helped with duties around the home as well. We were very pleased with Amanda and would have kept her if we had not moved!
