About Amanda

I have had a hand in raising children since I was 12 years old. I raised my two younger siblings (from infancy to early teen years), was the go to neighborhood babysitter, and then became the on call babysitter as my friends began to have children. As I go through some career changes and further pursuit of education, I am looking to expand my over decade's worth of personal experience to the public. I am freshly CPR/AED certified, Covid vaccinated, and am looking for a long term family to grow with. I take a gentle/responsive approach to caregiving and encourage child-led play while introducing age appropriate educational opportunities to reach milestones. I love pets and will gladly assist with light housework and meal prep. As my references are limited to friends and family, I am open to short trial visits so you can see how your child and I interact.
