About Alyssa

I have worked with children from infancy to young adult for over 20 years receiving my masters degree in clinical psychology. I have specialized in working with children with special needs and am a board certified behavioral therapist. I'd describe my personality as creative, patient, and trustworthy. I like working with kids because they teach me something new every day! I love seeing them learn and how their minds work! I started working with kids when I was 15 as a camp counselor during the summer for 4-5-year-olds! In my spare time, I like to attend my kickboxing classes or take my dog Kaia hiking! One thing you should know about me is I worked for my uncles veterinary clinic for most of my adult life and love animals almost as much as children! I am originally from South Carolina and love all sports! My skills include setting firm boundaries and behavior management, patience and multitasking! I also love arts and crafts!!
