About Amber

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, trustworthy, and caring. I like working with children because they make me smile and laugh. I have a big soft spot for children and love working to build rapport with them. I'm looking for a family who needs an occasional babysitter on the weekends but i'm also available on tuesdays. I started working with kids when 15, I was a nanny for a child with medical needs which required me to feed medication through a tube and monitor her oxygen. I now work for special needs children helping them learn to regulate their behaviors and work on social skills. In my spare time, I like to go on hikes, spent time with family and friends, read books, play with my two dogs, and play volleyball. One thing you should know about me is I am very dedicated and driven and will work hard to bond with your child or children. My skills include behavioral intervention, patience, and empathy for emotions.
