About Alyson

Hello, my name is Aly and I am a former medical professional turned full time mom, who is looking to return to the medical profession as a home health caregiver. I left my role as bedside Registered Nurse in the hospital setting almost 5 years ago and since then I have been home with my first born and recently welcomed a second baby. In the almost 10 years I spent as an RN I worked in many hospitals and travelled the country working as a travel nurse. My expertise was adult critical care/ICU, thus I am comfortable working with patients who have a wide range of illnesses. I am excited to take my experience and care into people's homes directly and pick up on a part of my life that had been on hold. I am CPR certified and I have hands-on experience with medication administration, ventilators/CPAP machines, IV's/Ports/PICCS, drains and feeding tubes. Also, I have experience with bathing/grooming assistance, transportation assistance and movement/positioning.
