About Allyson

Allyson is an incredibly dedicated and conscientious caregiver and cared for my mother who suffered from dementia and COPD. My mother would get agitated and could be very stubborn and difficult at times, but Allyson always managed to calm her down and put a smile on her face. She is kind, patient, compassionate, thoughtful and understanding. Allyson always found ways to cheer my mother up by painting her fingernails and toenails, giving her something sweet to eat, or flipping through old family photo albums with her. Allyson is an excellent communicator, and it showed, given the fact that my mother had affacia and was non-verbal. She is also extremely dependable and responsible, always arriving on time, and willing to work overtime when necessary. I always knew when I left the house to go to work that my mother was in good hands! And at the end of each day, Allyson provided me with an update about her care and anything she observed that might be of concern. Allyson cared for my 81 year old mother for the last two and a half years until her recent passing in November 2023. I am very fortunate to have found Allyson through care.com. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I miss her dearly. I would highly recommend Allyson for any caregiver position – grab her while you can!!
