I have about over 10yrs of experience and am currently a certified home aide. I was actually an LPN for over 6 years, working in an assisted living facility, however it just wasn't for me. (I did let my license expire and not renew; however, you can look it up officially online to verify that I was in fact a licensed nurse. Being a private home health aide, I get to deliver bedside manner and when I was a nurse, it was more about paperwork and stress. I love to take care of other people and it truly makes my heart happy to keep the elderly company... because they can get very lonely. A lot of times they just want someone to talk to and spend time with. I am very patient, gentle, and I like to cook. I can do activities with your loved one, find out what they like to do to keep busy, whether it's crafts, puzzles, and more.

Allison took excellent care of my 92 year-old father for several weeks before he passed. He enjoyed her company and she made him feel comfortable. Most importantly, she was compassionate and enabled my dad to stay in his home which he loved. Our family is grateful for Allison and everything she did for my dad.
