I've been caring for seniors for over 10 years, at all stages of life. I have experience with Alzheimers/ dementia patients especially. I've cared for folks after a stroke, some with cancer. I've worked with hospice on end of life cases and everything in between. I'm comfortable using a hoyer lift, catheter care, and GI feeding tube. I am healthy and strong, I have stellar references as I am reliable, have common sense and compassion. I have a safe reliable vehicle, a clean driver's license and I'm available to bring your loved one to appointments which I'll report any information or findings back to you in writing, for your records. My interests are gardening, bird watching, dogs and anything nature. I'm kind and funny. I enjoy listening to them tell stories about their experiences and lives. Heather cared for my mom with love and compassion. She made my mom laugh and engaged her in conversation that was relevant to my mom. For example, she asked my mom questions about her childhood, France, our dad and us. She made sure mom ate, was clean and took her outside for walks. My mom called her "my little friend".
