Hello, my name is Allison! I am a mom to a 10-month-old! I have been a private nanny for the last 7 years but previously I have worked in nursery's at churches and a preschool. I love being a caregiver because I love to grow with a family as their child/children grow. I love helping with reaching milestones and helping the children be successful in anything they do. I enjoy teaching children social development by going to the library for story time or to the parks or specialized classes. For example mommy and me gymnastics or Gymboree. From day one, we couldn't say enough good things about Allison. She's the best! She took care of my infant and toddler for about two months, working full time at my home. It really felt like we had our own personal daycare. She very quickly had the boys on the same napping schedule, documenting all of their meals, changes and sleep throughout the day. She gave my husband and I new tools for managing our toddler's little meltdowns and also got him potty trained. She also helped with keeping the play area tidy, folding the boys' laundry and putting dishes in the dishwasher. Allison is extremely supportive of how the parent wants to do things and asks questions to understand what the parent's wishes are. Her communication is probably one of her greatest qualities. The best quality is her passion for taking care of children and meeting the needs of each kid individually. It's obvious this is her calling and we were so lucky to have her take care of our boys. She's worth EVERY penny!!
