Hello! I'm Alley, I've been working in childcare for over 10 years between babysitting/nannying, directing a summer camp, and teaching 8th grade English. I graduated from Sonoma State in 2021 with two degrees in English and French. I am a fluent French speaker and in 2019 I studied abroad in Paris for a year where I nannied for a French family with the goal of teaching their two children (ages 5-9) English. I was a camp counselor at Decathlon Sports Club in Woodside CA all throughout my high school and college summers. For the past two summers I was promoted to Camp JCIT Director, teaching middle school aged kids how to become the best counselors possible. Last year while simultaneously earning my teaching credential from Cal Poly Humboldt, I taught 8th grade English Language Arts at Mckinleyville Middle School. Although I ultimately decided teaching wasn't for me, I still love working with kids, promoting creativity and making memories.
