About Savanna

My name is Savanna and I am 28 years old. I am originally from Humboldt County, Ca. I have about 13 years of paid experience working with children. I've worked at a summer camp for about 6 years as a Counselor and Program Director. I have worked as an English tutor/ camp counselor in Italy at summer camps for kids ages 4-16. My other past jobs include being an assistant teacher at a preschool (toddler room/ infant room), babysitting, and being a child care provider at a church. I am the oldest of five children, so I have been babysitting and taking care of children since I was about 10 years old. I love working with children and helping them express themselves creatively! In my most recent years of child care, I have been adapting a more Montessori style of care, encouraging children to build skills that help them be self sufficient and communicative about their bodies and feelings.
