I wanted to start by saying that I've lived in Colorado Springs since 1981. I worked in several nursing homes out here solving technical issues like nurse call stations and patient support. I saw many people throughout those years that didn't need to be there, and could have just used some extra help in order to stay in their home. What I'm looking for is 3 full days each week (24hrs) and 2 hrs off per day. With this arrangement, I charge by week instead of per hour. Let me know what your situation is. I'm available for fill in work until I get my 3 day job. If you hire one more person like myself, then your loved one will be covered for the week and can live at home, which is my goal. I have dementia and hospice experience as long as medical care does not have to be given. I'm good with meal preparation, bathing and mobility. I'm a cyclist myself who is into healthy lifestyles. I would be happy to sit down and meet with you to see if this might be a good fit.
