I have been a CNA since 2002, I worked in a nursing home for 9 years. I've worked with people with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, stroke and double amputee. I was also a Certified Dialysis Technician and worked at Elmhurst Hospital. After working on a nursing home for a long time, I decided to work independently as a CNA working with your loved-ones at home. I'm passionate about my job because I want to make a difference in their lives by assisting them with daily activities, like dressing them up, personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, doctor's appointment. Im moving to Colorado Springs in November.

Avelino is a phenomenal caregiver. My father was his priority. As an RN, I expect a high level of care. I never questioned Avelino’s skills, knowledge, judgement, or compassion. With little direction, he commanded all caregiver tasks, ie., meal planning, care of medication, bathing, engaging my father in meaningful conversation, laundry, etc. I live out of state and I was very impressed and comforted by his daily communication. Avelino was punctual and professional. I strongly recommend Avelino for your caregiving needs. I am so grateful that Avelino was available to care for my dad.
