About Alayna

Nearly every job I have taken in the last 4 years has involved working with youth. Whether it was working in a lab, volunteering at an after school study club, or teaching in the classroom, youth have always been at the center. My current pursuit involves medicine, where I hope to become a pediatric physician. More importantly though, I want to continue working with children, learning from them, and exploring the world through their eyes. Though I was once a child myself, the wonder and imagination that is most present in childhood is often lost on me. Yet every time I am privileged enough to spend time with children, they have the unique ability to evoke those feelings and experiences. They remind us adults that we are still capable of childlike exploration and fun. If I am able to work with your child(ren) I hope to provide as much wisdom and care as they (perhaps unknowingly) give to me.
