Hello! My name is Rachel R. I have been caring for children since I was a teen, but have been teaching art professionally in Boston Public Schools for over 10 years. I am currently taking a break from teaching full time and will be starting a part time adjunct position in the fall. I have years of experience with children with disabilities, as every school I worked at was an inclusion school. Though I don't have a car, I know Boston like the back of my hand and love exploring local museums and parks and would love to play outside and explore nature with your kids! I also enjoy indoor activities like reading (many years of experience doing active "read-alouds" with k-8 students!), doing arts and crafts, and helping students with school work. I can also offer paid art lessons as part of my fee. I can help with light housekeeping and swimming supervision.

Rachel is our part time babysitter for around 2 months. She is very responsible and easy to work with. Just like others said she has the thing that kids just love! My son loves playing with her and always asks when he will see her again. She is really energetic with the kids, also really cautious - my son has some severe food allergies and Rachel has always been really careful and considerate. She likes to take my son outside, go to different museums, or when they stay home, she likes to read books, play arts, or just play silly games with my son. I highly recommend her! I would definitely hire her again if we need anymore help in the future!
