About Alanna

Hello! My name is Alanna and I'm currently a youth mentor and advocate for the city of Seattle. I am offering childcare and household services. I am a single mother of a 2-year-old and I love kids :) I've been caring/ mentoring for young people ranging from the ages 0-19 since I was 12 years old. But professionally for 6 years. My responsibilities have included cooking, cleaning, commuting to school/activities, social and emotional support led programs, teaching ASL, hair styling, arts and crafts, swimming and more outdoor sports/activities. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean and run errands efficiently. I am CPR certifed, fluent in asl, received mental health training as well as deescalation training. I've taken early childhood development as well as psychology courses. I have experience working as a professional house cleaner and a camp counselor for deaf and hard of hearing children as well.
