About Alana

Hi! I am a responsible, patient, compassionate, and fun-loving caregiver with experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and children of different ages. In my current role, I assist adults with daily living needs, provide companionship and emotional support, encourage independence, and help with activities and community outings. I also have childcare experience from volunteering in a preschool, caring for my younger siblings, and tutoring. I have assisted with feeding, diaper changes, playtime, and daily routines. These experiences have taught me to be attentive, understanding, and adaptable to each person's individual needs. I have an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and am currently attending the University of Redlands, pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I also have my CPR/ First Aid. I am dependable, organized, caring, and easy to get along with. I enjoy helping others feel safe, respected, comfortable, and supported.
