About Adabel

In my father-in-law's own words, " she is like an angel. Sent from heaven". My husband's mother passed away in November of 2024 and his father came to Raleigh to live near us. He has Parkinson's and his daily activity needs have been increasing at a rate that my husband and I cannot keep up with due to our jobs. Adabel is truly a lifesaver. She did everything from bathing, shaving, grocery shopping, tidied up his place, prepared meals for him, and used her nursing skills to show him proper ways to use walkers and getting in and out of cars etc. She sent us photos everyday and gave us a very good update of his moods, his accomplishments, and her thoughts on what he needs. We couldn't have done this without her. She is truly an expert in her field. I saved the most important gift of hers for last. Her companionship with my father-in-law has given him what he needed with all the changes that he has been through and with all the loss he has suffered. I can't say enough about her. My father-in-law is now in an assisted living facility with nurses on site. He is not getting anywhere near the care and companionship that he had with her. We have continued her services for a little extra companionship once a week. My father-in-law looks forward to seeing her and it really brightens his day.
