About Shirley

I have always had a heart and a passion for helping others, it's what brings the most joy and meaning to my life, it never feels like a job to me because I truly love what I do! Over the past 15+ years, I have had the opportunity to work with seniors with a large variety of needs and to be employed with several well known agencies, as well as private duty. I feel all seniors deserve and should expect the highest level of care possible. I believe in always applying compassion, patience and a positive attitude to each person I work with. My specialty is caring for clients with dementia/Alzheimer's/memory loss, but I'm comfortable with a very wide range of medical issues and unique needs, I also excel at meal prep and light housekeeping and laundry tasks. I'm very flexible with my scheduling, including the possibility of nights, weekends or limited live-in and respite care. I have a number of outstanding references I can supply upon request.
