About Abrie

Hi! My name is Abrie, and I'm a caregiver and educator with a Master of Education in Special Education. I have experience working with children and adolescents as a Special Education Teacher and as a camp counselor in after-school programs and summer camps. I specialize in supporting students who benefit from individualized attention, structure, and encouragement to help them succeed academically and socially. I also have experience supporting a range of behavioral needs using positive, proactive strategies that promote emotional regulation, engagement, and positive decision-making. My background includes academic support, social-emotional learning, and helping students build independence, organization, and confidence in their learning.
