Hi! I am a college student, and am just looking for a part-time job where I can do what I love! I've been a volunteer tutor for kids ages 4-16, a nanny/babysitter for children ages 0-5, and I am a former daycare teacher who led multiple classes with children from the ages 0-6. Because I've had so much experience in childcare, I've grown in my patience, compassion, empathy, and my abilities to multitask and stay on top of a schedule - all skills I believe are so important when working with children. I also believe it's important to be able to form a trusting relationship with the children you are nannying/babysitting, because it helps to maintain the warm, nurturing environment their parents have built. Some activities I enjoy doing as a nanny/babysitter are baking, creating arts and crafts, reading, taking them to the park, and anything that helps their minds grow and keeps them safe and happy.
