About Aaron

I am 25 and recently returned from India after a year of researching thanks to a research grant that I received. I am in transition and applying to grad schools right now. I need to work and would love to tutor kids as a way to earn money. I have 2 years of experience tutoring 2nd and 3rd graders in reading. From 2009-2010 I worked at a private high school. I tutored students in geometry, beginning Spanish, and reading comprehension in small groups as well as one on one. I also developed the curriculum for and taught a class called Sustainable Living. We learned about conserving energy, different types of renewable energy, and how to be a mindful consumer. I am the oldest of 5 kids and have spent many years working as a camp counselor and caregiver. I have experience working with children of all ages. I love thinking of creative ways to make learning fresh and fun.
