She's lovely, sweet disposition. Kind of like being with a nice toddler, in adult body.
Has dementia and is in a wheelchair.
Doesn't speak, but smiles and laughs, but can sing to 60's music.
Incontinent, so she needs to be cleaned and changed.
Looking for a kind, strong, female caregiver.
My dad is home with her. He's in his 80's, cancer survivor, able to do errands, manage Mom's pills in daily pill box. (Not sure what that's called...) and do most household jobs. Needs help carrying laundry and some other chores.
I realize this is a very hard job.
Looking for a great person to help us in this very challenging time of life.
We need a caregiver on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
I am happy to share more, this is my first time on this service.
About the care needs: Strong: can move Mom from bed to wheelchair.
Kind: she loves to be talked to, hair brushed, included in conversation
Dependable: if the caregiver doesn't show up, Mom stays in bed, wet and unwashed. I can't bare that. We need someone who will care, like it's their loved one who needs this help
English language: My Dad doesn't speak any other languages, he needs to be able to communicate and explain the needs and routines.
Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
