About who needs care: My mother is a left above the knee amputee. She has high blood pressure, high cholesterol, mild COPD renal failure.
She loves western movies, the news, weather channel, spy movies, jazz music, blues music, Stevie W, Aretha F. and talking about her childhood on the family farm.
She needs help bathing and dressing each morning. She can feed herself and assist with her bathing.
She needs help getting on and off of the toilet. She will need to have help with her pull-up pants and peri-care.
We want to have a morning shift from 8:00 a.m. to noon on MWF. Bath, dress, wash, dry and fold a load of clothes if needed. Cook breakfast and wash the dishes.
In the evening shift from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to prepare a snack, dinner maybe dust or sweep the room and put her to bed.
On TTSS the schedule will be the same but for on call services.
About the care needs: Not too talkative but friendly. Play checkers and dominoes. Enjoy watching TV westerners and other movies. Occasionally cook smothered pork chops, fried chicken and southern foods. Prepare other simple foods such as fresh soups and over easy eggs,
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
