About who needs care: My Dad has Alzheimer's Dementia and lives with my mom. I am usually there M-F from 8:30-2:30 and as needed. My mom can do most of everything except shower him. So I do that. But we are looking for someone to help from about 5-11pm, 5 days a wk. and possibly some days when I cant be there. This week he has been struggling with remembering how to use the bathroom. Only a couple accidents but needing helping remembering what to do when its time do go to the bathroom. About who needs care: I have just been given this Saturday the 23rd as my going home day following 7 weeks in hospital, then post acute care for a fractured femur. I also have pulmonary arterial hypertension as an underlying condition. This means I have to be on supplemental oxygen most of the time.
