Family Housekeeper/Assistant - Looking for someone who can come...

Part Time $18 – 25/hr Starts 09/23 Seattle, WA
Looking for someone who can come by each day to straighten up, do light cleaning, and then do a deep clean once a week - fine to do the deep clean over multiple days like upstairs one day and downstairs another. Laundry, changing the bed linens and towels, dishes, tidying up and putting things away that may have been left out, etc. Ideally, this can morph into a housekeeper + family assistance for things like prepping simple meals, making appointments, light yard work, grocery shopping, running errands, walking the dog, etc. I would expect hours to be approximately 10 per week on an ongoing basis. Schedule can be flexible within a set timeframe - for example, anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day of the week. We have a beagle, Oscar, who also needs a good walk once each day during the day - 15-30 min. He is extremely good natured and can be a bit boisterous, but always fun loving Likely ready to start in late September or early October. Employment by the hour, direct deposit with taxes withheld (basically you will be considered a household employee per IRS rules). Our home is a bit chaotic at the moment as we are in the process of moving back in after a year long major remodel. The first floor is an open concept, with kitchen, living room, and mudroom/dining spaces. There is also a 3/4 bath and a separate office on this floor. The upstairs has two bedrooms, and a full bath. I am looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, and determining within reasonable guidelines what needs to be done on any given day. Ideally, you are comfortable developing your own plan for how to manage cleaning schedule, as well as grocery shopping and simple meal prep based on agreed upon guidelines vs needing detailed lists and instructions once we have worked together for a few weeks and learned the overall family dynamic and general goals for turning our house into a home. Truthfully, if I had time to plan everything in detail in order to ask someone else to manage these daily household needs I would have time to do them too! :-) Street parking is readily available, and our home is near bus routes. You can also park in the driveway if we are not there when you arrive.
