I travel 8-12 wks a year for work. MOST jobs fall in NC, SC or VA fairly close, 3-5 hours away for those jobs. The 8-12 wks is usually split between March-May & Sept-early Nov. Usually ranging in 2-4 wk intervals, occasionally travel dates run into one another making it the longer scenario at once. The wks I'd be gone I need someone after school till their off to school m-f, weekends I might need 24hr care on occasions depending possible family or friend overnight stays etc. I need basic upkeep expectations reinforced for kids to help with like picking up after themselves, take trash out, dishes, laundry. Some cooking, grocery orders pick ups, keep tabs on homework getting done or helping with outside of with me via video call, and leaving each day prepared for school. Possible light transportation to extracurricular type activities.
