My aunt is a highly educated women that is a retired ophthalmologist and former mountain climber. She is a very private person, and fiercely independent, until recently when she gets forgetful and panics due to her intermittent limitations. She is in need of someone that can drive her to the post office and complete errands such as grocery shopping, taking animals to vet, doctor appointments on and off island, someone that can escort her on walks in the neighborhood. My aunt can easily get frustrated when she forgets how to access her computer, and is hard of hearing so it is difficult to manage phone calls/voice mail. She needs someone that is calm, and able to help her when she panics about something she doesn't understand. Hobbies include Exercise, caring for sick/elderly cats/dog, garden, photography, reading mysteries, feeding the local raccoons. We need a Calm presence that is capable of talking my aunt down from a panic attack which occurs when she gets frustrated by her forgetfulness. We need a nanny for our twin boys (just turned 2) on south end of Vashon. My partner and I work from home and need someone to watch the boys Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We would love a candidate that is adventurous, reliable and loves working with kiddos. Ideally, applicants would have experience with multiples but its not required. Some light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry and dishes would be really helpful. I'm looking for hands-on care for my father-in-law in his 80s. Assistance with medication is needed. Some light tidying up is involved. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Part of your responsibilities will also include running errands, grocery shopping and taking him to appointments in Seattle or Tacoma. Certification in HHA and experience in palliative care and in-home senior care is preferred. Must be a non-smoker certified in CPR/First Aid.

Both parents work; dad full time, mom part time. We spend a lot of time outside. Our 5-year-old is very physical (skis, bikes, climbs, soccer, swims, etc) and social. Our 1-year-old is still crawling and takes one nap per day. We have a lot of love in our family and want to find the right nanny who will appreciate our kids as much as we do.

We are in between au pairs and need a short term nanny for likely 6 to 10 weeks to care for our 2 amazing girls. Our eldest will be 3 in November and our youngest will turn 1 at the end of October. Our home, where the care needs to be provided, is on Vashon Island near Burton. We are closer to the Tacoma ferry but Fauntleroy isn't too far either. We will pay for your ferry cost and we're also willing to pick up and drop off at the ferry daily to allow for walk-on travel. We would prefer a Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. routine but can be flexible on the days per week and timing. My wife works from our home office most days while I travel to our Seattle office. Prepare breakfast and lunch daily, oversee naptimes, and enjoy play both inside and outside.
