Qualities we are looking for include a safe driver, proactive with planning activities and outside play time for our toddler, experience with newborns, strong references from previous families, current Tdap (whooping cough), and MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccines. I have a 2 yo German shepherd who is high energy and needs walking once a day. There are 2 other smaller 13 yo dogs who don't need much at all other than sleep. I also 2 cats, one comes and goes through doggie door and the other is elderly and stays in the house. All eat in the am and then snack in the pm. None like being alone more than me at work during the day. Individual can stay at our home as much as desired (two extra bedrooms) or come and go.
