About who needs care: My dad has Encephalopathy, meaning he has memory issues (short term memory loss, hard to form new memories yet he remembers everything pre 2020). He lives in the memory unit of a assisted living facility . We are looking for a companion for him who could take him on walks/hikes, to volunteer activities, to the beach, to run basic errands. His condition is not degenerative and he doesn't require any sort of basic care support, he just needs to be with someone and get out into the world more often. About the care needs: My dad likes to hike and be in nature. He had a long history of volunteer work, and enjoys feeling purposeful . Given his new normal, he does best with a slower/quieter pace. The type of personality we need is someone who feels very confident and comfortable caring for an opinionated 70yr old man ;-) Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.

Oak View family needs a pet sitter for 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 other pet. Must love animals! Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. Job includes playing with and exercising my pet(s). Job duties include clean up of pet waste only if needed. We're also looking for some help with feeding. Non-smoker. We're looking for someone who can handle medium sized cattle dogs and one indoor/outdoor cat.

You will be caring for a lovely senior couple. Initially you will be caring for the wife, while the husband recuperates in rehab from a fall. They are early risers and like to sit on their porch, visit with neighbors who frequently drop by and stay caught up with news. They need help with meal prep, laundry, and daily light tidying of their home. Needs to be able to assist with showering, toileting, dressing for the husband while he recovers (is wearing a back brace). The wife needs no personal assistance. Both use walkers to get around. Neither drive anymore. Must have California HCA certification. They live in a suburban neighborhood with plenty of parking at their home.
