I am a new mom searching for help with my infant son. From time to time, I need help with meals, cleaning, errands and other tasks. I need a mother's assistant who can help me from time to time.

Seeking a fun, loving, kind and experienced sitter to babysit one night every other week.

2200 sq ft split level house (3 levels 4-6 stairs ea). 3 bedrooms/3 bathrooms. Approx 10 rooms in total. We need general cleaning on a weekly or every other week basis depending on time and scope of work completed each time. It takes 3-4 hours to clean the entire house once the spaces are familiar. $25-$30 hr max depending on quality of cleaning. House is primarily hardwoods & tile with area rugs. We need the kitchen cleaned, bathrooms cleaned, beds changed, regular eye-level dusting and vacuuming, and floors mopped. Linens laundered from bed changes & folded. Other duties as requested and negotiated. We have a dog and two snakes (in cages out of the way.) We have basic equipment (vacuum, steam mop). Supplies to be discussed based on cleaner's preferences and our product preferences. A contract to be agreed upon and signed.

My 6-year-old stepson also lives with us half the time and goes to school in Lafayette. Ideally we would get help with some of his pick-ups and drop-offs as well. He suffers from mid-stage cognitive decline, and it's become increasingly challenging for his wife to be the sole caretaker for him, as both adult children live out-of-state. So, our family is looking for someone with experience in caring for seniors with cognitive decline to come in, full-time, to be a companion, keep an eye on Harvey, and help alleviate some of the stress and responsibility for his wife. He's in his 80s, and is still quite physically active and well. He's quite easy to get along with and enjoys company, but he's simply become too much for one person to be responsible for.
